Key Features of the 10020/1/2 QPM

Fault Tolerance:
- Supports continuous operation by isolating faulty central parts in redundant configurations.
- System maintains safety during internal or external faults.
Safety Operations:
- Digital inputs default to “0 signal” and analog inputs use configured minimum limits during module faults.
- Redundant systems overwrite faulty signals with corrected inputs from the other central part.
Output Module Failures:
- Localized faults trigger group shutdown for the affected channel, with defined operation periods based on Probability of Failure on Demand (PFD) calculations.
Operational Integrity:
- Certified for safety-related applications up to SIL 3.
- Approved by TÜV SÜD for recertification against international safety standards.
