Description
The Honeywell 10302/2/1 Watchdog Repeater is a module designed to monitor 5 Vdc and 24 Vdc power supplies. It connects the watchdog output to the watchdog input of output modules, ensuring reliable monitoring of power supplies.
Key Applications:
- Used in multiple-PSU (10300/1/1) configurations for subsequent power supply units (e.g., PSU 2, 3, 4).
- Required when the 24 Vdc is supplied via M24-20 HE or M24-12 HE power supplies.
- Suitable for external power supplies that may exceed 31.0 Vdc, ensuring safety up to 37 Vdc under fault conditions.
- Necessary when the required watchdog current surpasses 900 mA.
- Applicable in mixed redundant and non-redundant I/O configurations.
- Essential for configurations with redundant Central Parts and non-redundant I/O.
Installation Notes:
- Requires a horizontal bus connection; specific space allocation in the I/O racks is mandatory (positions 1, 2, 11-18).
- Must be installed in the same I/O section it monitors to avoid controlling other sections.
- Can be hot-swapped, but this will cause the Central Part (or both Central Parts in redundant setups) to shut down.
