The Honeywell 10310/2/1 Earth Leakage Detector (ELD) is designed for 24 V DC systems to monitor earth leakage, ensuring operational safety and reliability. It includes features for manual testing, earth connection monitoring, and fault detection.

Features and Operation

• Compatible Systems:
  • 24 V DC, 48 V DC, 60 V DC, or 110 V DC systems.
• Modes of Operation:
  • Continuous Monitoring: Switch 1 in the ‘DC’ position.
  • Interrupting Connection:
    • At 1 Hz (Switch 1 in the ‘1 Hz’ position).
    • At 0.25 Hz (Switch 1 in the ‘1/4 Hz’ position).
• LED Indicator: Green ‘MODE’ LED flashes at selected frequency.
• Earth Fault Detection:
  • Earth faults trigger the flip-flop, de-energizing the relay.
  • Fault reset options:
    • Manually (Switch 2 to ‘RESET’).
    • High-level signal at Rst24 or Rst110 inputs.
• Self-Test Function:
  • A 1.5 kΩ resistor connected between 0 V and earth can test the ELD.
  • Earth connection test via internal 1.5 kΩ resistor with Earth2 pin connection (Switch 2 in ‘TEST’ position).
