3500/61-01-00 | BENTLY NEVADA Temperature Monitors with Recorder Outputs

The Bently Nevada 3500/61-01-00 3500/61 Recorder Outputs Module is designed for temperature monitoring and accepts both RTD (Resistance Temperature Detector) and Thermocouple (TC) inputs. It processes these inputs, compares them against user-programmable alarm setpoints, and provides recorder outputs for each channel. This enables integration with external recording devices for continuous data logging.

• Input Channels:
  The 3500/61 module supports 1 to 6 input channels, allowing flexibility in temperature monitoring. It accepts either RTD or Thermocouple signals, depending on the application. Consequently, it can handle a wide range of temperature measurement needs.
• Input Signal Types:
  • RTD (Resistance Temperature Detector): RTDs measure temperature based on changes in resistance, making them ideal for precise and stable temperature monitoring.
  • Thermocouple (TC): Thermocouples generate a voltage proportional to temperature differences at their junctions, providing reliable temperature measurements in a variety of environments.
• Input Impedance:
  Each input has a high input impedance of 10 MΩ, ensuring minimal signal loss and high accuracy. This is especially important in critical applications where precise temperature readings are essential.
• Alarm Setpoints:
  The module compares input signals against user-programmable alarm setpoints, allowing operators to monitor temperature conditions in real time. If the temperature exceeds a set threshold, the system triggers an alarm, alerting operators to potential issues.

  • Front Panel Recorder Output:
    Each channel provides an independent +4 to +20 mA current loop output, proportional to the full-scale range of the monitor. This feature allows for easy connection to external recorders, such as chart recorders or data loggers.
  • Short Circuit Protection:
    Importantly, the module is designed so that monitor operation is unaffected by short circuits on the recorder outputs. This ensures uninterrupted performance, even under challenging conditions.

Power Consumption:

The 3500/61 module consumes a nominal 7 watts of power, making it energy-efficient while delivering reliable performance.
