The AO810V2 Analog Output Module has 8 unipolar analog output channels. It supervises the communication to the D/A-converters by reading back and verifying the serial data. During the readback, the opencircuit diagnostic is received. The module performs self-diagnostics cyclically, including supervision of process power supply. If the supply voltage to output circuitry is too low, an error is reported as a channel error. The channel diagnostic detects faults in active channels, reporting an error if the output current is less than the output set value (greater than 1 mA).
