8200-226 | Woodward Servo Position Controller (SPC)

General Information

The 8200-226 Servo Position Controller (SPC) is the latest model in Woodward’s SPC lineup, replacing models 8200-224 and 8200-225. This controller positions hydraulic or pneumatic actuators based on a demand signal received from a control system. The SPC supports both single and dual position feedback devices and can receive position demand signals via DeviceNet, 4–20 mA, or both. Configuration and calibration are easily managed through a PC-based software tool.

- Analog demand input ranges from 4–20 mA, with robust fault detection.

- Detects driver current errors, overcurrent, actuator shorts, and open circuits.
- Continuous monitoring of internal supply voltages, memory tests, and communication faults.
Flexible Communication:

- Diagnostic service port with a 9-pin Sub-D socket.
