General Description
The RER103-MM is a bus connection module designed to interface RE_500 series devices with fibre-optic SPA, LON®, and IEC 60870-5-103 communication buses. It converts optical signals from the bus into RS-485 electrical signals, and vice versa.
This module plugs directly into the 9-pin RS-485 D-sub connector on the rear of RE_500 devices and draws power from the host unit. It also features a Service Pin for LON® nodes.
