The Allen-Bradley 1756-IF8 is an eight-channel non-isolated analog input module for ControlLogix Programmable Automation Controllers (PACs). Wiring Configurations
The 1756-IF8 can be wired in three different ways, depending on system requirements:
- Single-Ended Wiring: All input signals share a common ground, maximizing the number of available channels.
- Differential Wiring: Uses separate signal pairs, improving noise immunity in electrically noisy environments.
- High-Speed Mode Differential Wiring: Provides the fastest data updates but limits the number of usable channels.
Each wiring method affects scan time, ranging from 5 ms to 488 ms, based on configuration.
