The 1797-BIC is a Flex Ex Bus Isolator designed for connecting standard Flex I/O modules to Flex Ex modules while maintaining the same I/O group. It supports up to eight Flex Ex I/O modules and is DIN rail mountable, powered by an 18-32 VDC input voltage supply.
