ProSoft 3170-MBS Modbus Slave Communication Adapter

The ProSoft 3170-MBS Modbus Slave Communication Adapter allows interfacing up to 8 Rockwell Automation FLEX and/or Integra I/O modules with any Modbus Master.

Functionality includes:

• Multi-drop on an RS-485 link with other Modbus compatible devices
• Interface Analog and/or Discrete I/O directly to a Host
• Add FLEX I/O into applications with existing devices from other manufacturers

The module is easy to use with dip-switch configuration options. Pre-mapped Flex and Integra data images simplify Modbus read/write operations using standard commands. The 3170-MBS offers full read/write access to all Flex and Integra modules, supporting Function Codes 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, and 16.
