Overview

The DECS-200 Digital Excitation Control System is designed to control the voltage, vars, or power factor of a synchronous generator by adjusting the DC excitation supplied to the generator’s exciter field. Offering remarkable flexibility, it accommodates various voltage configurations (32Vdc, 63Vdc, 125Vdc) and delivers up to 15Adc of excitation current. The system is well-suited for generators of all sizes and is equipped with advanced protection features and communication capabilities.

Supports RS-232 and RS-485 communication, enabling local and remote monitoring and control. Modbus™ protocol available for communication up to 4000 feet away.
Sequence of Events and Oscillography
Capture and record critical operational data with Sequence of Events Recording (SER) and Oscillography for diagnostics and troubleshooting.
Backlit LCD Display
Front panel display for real-time monitoring with intuitive navigation.
