Description

• The 3500 Power Supplies are designed as half-height modules for installation in specially designated slots on the left side of the rack.
• Redundancy Support:
  • The rack can house one or two power supplies, in any combination of AC and/or DC.
  • When two power supplies are present:
    • The lower slot supply acts as the primary.
    • The upper slot supply acts as the backup.
  • Hot-swappable design: Removing or inserting a power supply does not interrupt rack operations if a backup supply is present.

  • 175 to 264 Vac rms (220 V nominal):
    • Requires a High Voltage AC Power Input Module (PIM).
    • Pre-rev R installations require input between 175 to 250 Vac rms.
  • 85 to 132 Vac rms (110 V nominal):
    • Requires a Low Voltage AC Power Input Module (PIM).
    • Pre-rev R installations require input between 85 to 125 Vac rms.
  • 88 to 140 Vdc:
    • Requires a High Voltage DC Power Input Module (PIM).
  • 20 to 30 Vdc:
    • Requires a Low Voltage DC Power Input Module (PIM).
• Out of Range Protection:
  • Under-voltage: No damage to the supply or PIM.
  • Over-voltage: Causes PIM fuse to open for protection.
