Description
The TDXnet Communications Processor is designed to provide seamless communication between compatible machinery protection systems and machinery management software. It enables efficient data collection, including steady state and startup/shutdown data, and offers significant improvements in data transmission (Ethernet or serial) over previous processors like TDIX, TDM, and DDM.
- Enhanced Startup/Shutdown Data Collection:
- View transient plots (Polar, Bode, Orbit, etc.) during machine startup/shutdown (SU/SD).
- SU/SD data acquisition is initiated by detecting changes in RPM from the Keyphasor sensor, eliminating the need for an external contact closure.
- Two independent startup/shutdown buffers and one Delta-Time buffer.
- Improved SDI Communication:
- Supports RS485 multi-drop functionality and MODBUS protocols.
- Includes RPM values and status for all four Keyphasor transducers.
- New register allocation groups MODBUS register locations by proportional data values, such as Direct, Gap, 1X Amplitude, etc.
- Direct Integration:
- Compatible with 3500, 2201, and newer 3300 systems, offering quick integration.
- Supports Data Manager 2000 Version 2.0 or later and Machine Condition Manager* 2000 version 1.0 or later.
- Use of TDXconnX* for interfacing with other monitoring systems.
Specifications
