The Standard Transient Data Interface (TDI) for Bently Nevada 3500 systems is an advanced solution designed to interface the 3500 rack with GE’s System 1* machinery management software. It serves as a Rack Interface Module (RIM) and communication processor, enabling the collection and transfer of steady-state and transient waveform data over Ethernet.

Description and Features

1. Data Capture:
   • Collects both steady-state and transient waveform data for system diagnostics.
   • Dynamic or transient data capture enabled through an optional Channel Enabling Disk.
2. Compatibility:
   • Operates with M series monitors (e.g., 3500/40M, 3500/42M).
   • Provides seamless integration with System 1* software via Ethernet communication.
3. TMR Functionality (For TMR applications):
   • Monitors channel comparison and executes voting logic.
   • Flags errors in redundant monitors and logs events in the System Event List.
4. Non-Critical Path:
   • Functions independently of the critical monitoring path to ensure system reliability.
