Overview
The 3300/20-12-01-02-01-02 3300/20 Dual Thrust Position Monitor provides early warning of thrust bearing failure by continuously measuring and monitoring two independent channels of shaft axial position. This is done relative to the axial clearances within the machine. Ideally, the axial probes are installed to observe the thrust collar directly, enabling accurate measurement of the collar’s position relative to the thrust bearing clearance.

Output Details
Recorder Output Impedance
- Voltage Outputs: 100 Ω. Minimum load resistance is 10 kΩ.
- Current Compliance: 0 to +12 Vdc range across load, with a resistance of 0 to 600 Ω when using the +4 to +20 mA option.
Buffered Transducer Outputs
- One coaxial connector per channel on the front panel and one terminal connection per channel on the rear panel. All outputs are short-circuit protected.
- Transducer Supply Voltage: User-programmable for -24 Vdc or -18 Vdc, with current limiting on each individual circuit board.
Alarm and Display Features
Alarm Setpoints
- Both Alert and Danger alarms are bi-directional (normal and counter).
- These alarms are digitally adjustable from 0 to 100% of full-scale and can be set within LCD resolution (±1.6%). Once set, alarms remain repeatable within ±0.39% of full-scale.
Meter Display
- LCD Type: Non-multiplexing vertical bargraph with 63 segments per channel.
- Probe Gap: Displayed on a third, center scale.
- Resolution: ±1.6% of monitor full-scale.
- Display Size: 83 mm (3.25 inches), vertical dimension.
LED Indicators
- OK LED: A constant green LED indicates that the monitor, transducers, and field wiring are in good condition.
- Alarm LEDs: Two red LEDs per channel indicate alarm status (for both Alert and Danger), with flashing LEDs for First Out.
- Bypass LEDs: Indicate the status of Danger Bypass and Rack/Channel Bypass functions.
