The Bently Nevada 330900-50-00 Proximity Switch is designed for use in environments where standard Bently Nevada 3300 and 3300 XL 5 and 8 mm Transducer Systems cannot be applied due to counterbore, side view, or rear view limitations. It is particularly suitable for applications involving small targets, such as:

Monitoring radial vibration on shafts under 51 mm (2 in)
Measuring axial position on flat targets under 15 mm (0.6 in)

In fluid-film bearing machines, this proximity switch is used primarily in situations where a narrow shaft or restricted side view exists. Key applications include:

Measurements of radial position and vibration
Measurements of axial (thrust) location
Measurements using a tachometer and zero speed
Signals used as phase references (Keyphasor)
