Description

The 3500/25 Enhanced Keyphasor Module is a half-height, two-channel module designed for use in a 3500 Machinery Protection System. It receives input signals from proximity probes or magnetic pickups, converting them into digital Keyphasor signals. These signals indicate when the Keyphasor mark on a rotating shaft coincides with the Keyphasor transducer, providing crucial rotational speed data. The module can handle up to four Keyphasor signals in a standard configuration or up to eight in a paired configuration.

  • Auto Threshold: Minimum 2 V peak-to-peak amplitude for triggering, with a minimum frequency of 120 rpm (2 Hz).
  • Manual Threshold: User-selectable from 0 to -20 V DC, with a minimum signal amplitude of 500 mV peak-to-peak.
  • Hysteresis: Adjustable from 0.2 to 2.5 Volts.

Outputs:

  • Two buffered Keyphasor outputs at the front via coaxial connectors, and two more outputs at the back via Euro-style connectors.
  • Output Impedance: 504 Ω maximum for buffered output.

Keyphasor Transducer Power Supply:

  • -24 V DC, 40 mA maximum per channel.
