Description
The Bently Nevada™ Electronic Overspeed Detection System for the 3500 Series Machinery Protection System is a reliable, fast-response, redundant tachometer system. It is designed to meet the API Standards 670 and 612 for overspeed protection.
The system allows combining 3500/53 modules into either:
- 2-out-of-2 or
- 2-out-of-3 (recommended) voting systems.
The use of a 3500 rack with redundant power supplies is mandatory.

Accepts a single transducer signal from a proximity probe or magnetic pickup.- Input range: +10.0 V to -24.0 V (signals exceeding this range are internally limited).

- One coaxial connector per module.
