GE Fanuc IC693CHS397 5-Slot Modular CPU Baseplate

The GE Fanuc IC693CHS397 is a 5-slot modular CPU baseplate designed for use with GE Series 90-30 PLC systems. The baseplate features one dedicated power supply slot and four additional slots for various modules, including CPU, special option modules, and I/O modules.

Key Features

Power Supply Slot: A power supply module must be installed in the leftmost slot, which is specially designed to only fit power supplies. This slot is not numbered.
CPU/Special Option Slot (Slot 1): The first slot, labeled CPU/1, is intended for a CPU or special option module like the FIP Remote I/O Scanner (IC693BEM330).
Modular Slots (Slots 2 and Above): The remaining slots, starting from Slot 2, can support option modules or I/O modules. These slots are versatile and sized to support either module type.
Expansion Capability: A female expansion connector (25-pin D-type) is located on the right side of the baseplate, allowing connection to either an Expansion or Remote baseplate.
Modular CPU: The CPU can be replaced or upgraded thanks to the modular design, offering flexibility for system expansion.

System Considerations

Only one CPU baseplate can be used in a system, and any additional baseplates must be expansion or remote baseplates.
By default, the IC693CHS397 is assigned Rack Number 0.
