Functional Description

The DS200DTBCG1A serves as a Contact Output Termination Module (DTBC), developed by General Electric for the Mark V series in turbine control systems. This module integrates into configurations such as Q11, Q21, and Q51, enabling users to manage relay terminations efficiently.

• Q11 Configuration:
  The DTBC in Q11 directly connects to the four contact output relays on the TCRA board within the Q11 core. Engineers specifically configure hardware jumpers for gas manifold blow-off valve control, ensuring precise operation.
• Q21 and Q51 Configurations:
  In Q21 and Q51, the DTBC links to the 30 relays located on the TCRA board at positions four and five. Additionally, engineers can configure 18 of the 30 outputs in the Q51 core as solenoids using hardware jumpers, enhancing its control functionality.

• JS1-JS8:
  These connectors transmit relay signals from the TCRA board at location four.
• J8:
  The connector delivers power from the TCPD board in the PD core to the solenoids, ensuring consistent operation.
• J15 and J16:
  • These connectors supply 125 V DC power to contact outputs 16, 17, and 18.
  • In the Q51 core, J15 links to J16, although this setup is rarely used in Q11.

Hardware Configuration

• P1/M1 through P18/M18:
  Users enable contact outputs #1 through #18 via solenoids. For solenoid power activation, both must remain either engaged or disengaged.
  • Q11 Core Exception: In Q11, the gas manifold blow-off valve control setup follows a unique configuration that does not adhere to this rule.
