Product Description

The DS200FSAAG1A is a Field Supply Amplifier board from General Electric’s Mark V Series. The board includes five jumpers, a 10-pin connector, and two fuses. It also has several test points for diagnostics.

You can connect the board to other drive components. The board mounts securely using screws, with holes at each corner aligning with standoffs. Be careful not to overtighten the screws, as this could damage the board.

The metal surface around the board offers extra protection. On the left side, you will find two Limitron fast-acting fuses, each rated for 30 amps and marked with the KTK symbol.

Installation and Replacement

Follow these steps to replace the board:

Remove the Four Screws: Unscrew and store them in a safe place for later use.
Disconnect the Cables: Carefully remove all cables and label them for easy reconnection. You can also create a diagram to track the connections.
Check Jumper Placement: Observe the jumper positions on the old board and replicate them on the new board to ensure it operates as expected.
Install the New Board: Align the new board with the standoffs and tighten the screws.

After installing the new board, reconnect the cables to the drive component to restore functionality.

Circuit and Capacitors

The DS200FSAAG1A has four capacitors: two on the right side and two on the left. These capacitors store and release high voltage during operation.

Jumpers and Configuration

The five jumpers on the board are for testing signals and circuits during manufacturing. Service personnel cannot adjust these jumpers, as the alternate configurations are unsupported. Other jumpers allow you to modify the board’s operation and settings.
