Description

The 10101/2/1 Fail-Safe Digital Input Module provides 16 digital input channels at 24 Vdc.

• Fail-to-safe design: In the event of a component failure, the module sends a de-energized input signal to the processor, ensuring safety in a normally energized system.
• Self-test functions: The module performs regular diagnostics within the configured process safety time to test:
  • Reception of logic level ‘0’ signals.
  • Reception of logic level ‘1’ signals.
  • Crosstalk detection between input channels.
