Honeywell 10105/2/1 Fail-safe High-Density Analog Input Module

Description:

The 10105/2/1 analog input module provides sixteen analog inputs (0-4 V) and an external voltage readback input (0-4 V). These channels are fail-safe (safety class AK6) and share a common isolated analog 0 V. To use field signals with the module, you must first convert the signals from 0-20 mA to a level that is compatible with the module. This conversion can be achieved in two ways:

By using the field termination assembly module FTA-T-14, or
By using the analog input conversion module 10105/A/1, which you can place on a programming connector (Px) at the back of the I/O backplane in the 19-inch rack.

For example, analog input signals such as thermocouple and PT-100 can only be used once you convert them to 0(4)-20 mA with a dedicated converter. You must also use the FTA-T-14 or 10105/A/1 module for this conversion.
