HONEYWELL 10303/1/1 03501 Power Supply Distribution Module (PSD)

Description:

The 10303/1/1 Power Supply Distribution Module (PSD) works in systems that feature redundant Central Parts and non-redundant I/O. It combines the outputs of the power supply units (PSUs) in the redundant Central Parts into a single 5 Vdc supply for the non-redundant I/O section. Each PSU module requires one PSD module.

This module routes the power supply to the Central Part, ensuring that the voltage drop between the Central Part and the I/O section remains equal. To meet the strict limits on the 5 Vdc supply (± 5%), the PSD modules should be placed close to the PSU modules. The wiring must have a minimum diameter of 2.5 mm² (AWG 14).

You must turn off the power to the corresponding PSU before exchanging the PSD module.
