Functionality
The Honeywell CC-PSP401 Speed Protection Module (SPM) is a Series C I/O module designed to handle up to four speed probe signals in the form of electrical pulses. It provides onboard signal conditioning and a two-out-of-three voting system to ensure accurate speed detection and regulation. The module is used for over-speed protection in turbomachinery applications and is integrated into Honeywell’s C300 controller for speed regulation.
