The FC-IOCHAS-0001S is a 19-inch chassis designed for non-redundant I/O modules  in Safety Manager systems. It supports up to 18 I/O modules for applications where redundancy is not required, offering a reliable and space-efficient solution.

1. IO Housing
   • 19-inch mechanical case with front and back cover plates for up to 18 I/O modules.
   • Includes a swingable front cover for easy access to flat cables.
2. IO Extender Module (IO-0001)
   • Located at slot 21, it interfaces the I/O modules with the Control Processor.
3. Blind Fronts
   • Two blind covers are provided to maintain proper airflow and safety for unused slots.
4. Slot Configuration
   • Slots 1 to 18: Available for non-redundant I/O modules.
   • Slot 19: Reserved, not usable.
   • Slot 21: Contains the IO Extender Module (IO-0001).
5. Cable Management
   • Rear cable clamps and cover plates ensure organized and secure cable routing.
