Overview

The Honeywell MU-GAIH92 High Level Analog Input (HLAI) FTA is designed to interface with up to 16 high-level DC signals. It provides galvanic isolation and enables signal transmission between hazardous and safe areas. This module is compatible with conventional 2-wire and 3-wire transmitters, making it ideal for industrial applications requiring robust and accurate signal processing.

Suitable for conventional 2-wire and 3-wire 4-20 mA transmitters.
Compatible with auxiliary devices via a 50-pin auxiliary connector.

Signal Processing

Provides floating DC power to energize transmitters in hazardous areas.
Converts the 4-20 mA input signal into a 1-5 VDC output signal for safe area IOPs.

Galvanic Isolation

Ensures 250 VAC isolation between hazardous and safe sides.
Prevents electrical interference and ensures safe signal transmission.

Connectors

Two 50-pin connectors for redundant IOPs (non-redundant configuration also supported).
One 50-pin auxiliary connector for 4-20 mA signal output to auxiliary devices.

Indicators

Primary IOP Active Indicator: Green light indicates active primary IOP.
Galvanic Isolation Module Power Indicator: Green light confirms power is applied.

Maximum open circuit voltage: 28V.
Minimum voltage at 20 mA: 15V.
