ICS Triplex T8403C Trusted TMR 24 Vdc Digital Input Module

The Rockwell ICS Triplex T8403C Trusted® TMR 24 Vdc Digital Input Module interfaces with 40 field input devices, utilizing a Triple Modular Redundant (TMR) architecture for fault tolerance across all input channels. Each field input is triplicated, and input voltage is measured using a sigma-delta input circuit. The module compares the resulting field voltage measurement against user-configurable threshold voltages to determine the input state. With a line-monitoring device installed at the field switch, the module can detect open and short circuit conditions in field cables, and line monitoring functions can be independently configured for each input channel. Comprehensive fault detection and tolerance are achieved through triplicated voltage measurements and onboard diagnostic testing.

The module features onboard Sequence of Events (SOE) reporting with a resolution of 1 ms, with state changes triggering SOE entries. States are determined by configurable voltage thresholds on a per-channel basis.
