Overview

The IEMMU01 is a legacy module mounting unit designed to house system modules within the INFI 90® OPEN process control system. It facilitates power distribution and communication for system modules installed in industrial control cabinets.

Description:

The IEMMU01 provides the necessary physical and electrical interface for modules within a system cabinet.
Supports Controlway and Module Bus communication between modules.
Distributes regulated DC power to connected modules.

- Can house up to 12 system modules.
- Allows for seamless integration into legacy systems.
Power Distribution:
- Distributes +5V, +15V, -15V, and +24V regulated DC power to modules.
- Requires connection to an external power source.
Communication:
- Provides bus connectivity for Controlway and Module Bus signals.
- Includes connectors for communication signal routing.
Compatibility:
- Can be replaced or upgraded with newer units like IEMMU11 or IEMMU21.
- Requires a transition board for interconnection with newer units.

Upgrades and Replacement:

For mixed systems, a transition board is required to connect IEMMU01 with newer IEMMU models.
