Proven Design
The Geiger-Mueller-type sensor phototube detects UV radiation in the 1800 – 2600 angstrom range. The sensor is “solar blind,” which means it is resistant to interference from sunlight. Additionally, it can tolerate black body radiation. This makes it reliable even in challenging environments.
The sensor has a two-year shelf life and boasts a 10,000-hour MTBF. It has accumulated over one billion operating hours in real-world use.
