MP3101 S2 | Triconex Models 3101 Main Processor Module

The MP 3101 S2 is a Trident system component designed for critical safety and control applications. Each Trident system requires a minimum configuration with one MP baseplate housing three main processors (MPs). Each MP module operates as an independent channel within the Trident system and includes dedicated processors for system executive and I/O operations.

Processor and Firmware Components

• System Executive (SX): Manages application control, system diagnostics, TriBus communication, voting, and TriStation/Modbus communication.
• Input/Output Executive (IOX): Manages I/O operations, including ASIC communication, I/O control, and diagnostics.
