PQMII-A | GE Multilin PQM II Power Quality Meter

The GE Multilin PQM II is a comprehensive power quality meter designed for continuous monitoring of single-phase or three-phase systems in large fixed installations, such as control panels, switchgear, substations, and industrial settings. It measures current, voltage, real power, reactive power, apparent power, energy consumption, cost of power, power factor, and frequency.

Key features include:

• Programmable setpoints and four output relays for alarm/control functions (e.g., over/under voltage, unbalance, load shedding, power factor correction).
• RS485 Modbus communication and 4-20 mA analog outputs for seamless integration with PLCs and automation systems.
• Harmonic analysis to assess power quality and prevent issues like overheating and nuisance breaker trips.
• Data logging and waveform capture for troubleshooting and performance optimization.

Applications:

• Metering of distribution feeders, transformers, generators, capacitor banks, and motors.
• Medium and low-voltage three-phase systems.
• Power quality analysis and system debugging.
