The ProSoft MVI56-DFCMR is a DF1 Master/Slave Communication Module with a Reduced Data Block, designed for ControlLogix PLCs. It enables easy DF1 protocol communication between ControlLogix I/O processors and DF1-compatible devices, such as Rockwell Automation PLCs, power monitoring equipment, and other third-party devices.
This module is ideal for Ethernet and ControlNet applications, particularly when installed in remote racks. It supports full and half-duplex DF1 communication and includes two user-configurable serial ports that can function as either a master or slave.
