• Isolation: The tap provides 14 dB of isolation between the drop adapter and the trunk cable, minimizing signal interference.
• Ports: The device includes one drop port and two trunk ports to offer flexible connectivity options.

Important Notes:

• Non-Directional: The tap’s IN and OUT labels are irrelevant. The device allows signals to flow in both directions.
• Grounding: Avoid grounding the tap unless you are using it as the single-point ground for the entire RIO system.
• Connector Compatibility: If you use semirigid cables and find that the connectors do not fit directly onto the tap’s trunk ports, you can use the Modicon 52-0480-000 right-angle F adapter.
