Known Issues

Compatibility Issue with Processors:
Older versions of the T8150, T8151B, and T8151C modules are not compatible with Trusted T8111C Series B, H/W Issue O or older processors. When paired, these modules cease operation.
Affected Modules:
- Trusted T8151C / Series A, H/W issues A through F.

Solution and Action Plan

1. Replacement Requirements

Modules to Replace:
Replace any incompatible communication modules with T8151C Series B or later modules.
Connector Module:
Ensure that the T8153 connector module is compatible (H/W issues G through X). If using T8153 H/W issue A through F, replacement is required alongside the communication module.

2. Important Notes

Replacement requests were accepted through October 2020. Post this date, customers must purchase replacements at their own cost.
Processor modules (T8111C Series B, H/W Issue O or older) are unaffected and do not require replacement.

3. Customer Responsibilities

Identify Affected Products:
Check inventory for affected T8150/T8151 modules using the Product Identification section.
Request Replacements:
Contact the Rockwell Automation Trusted Spares and Repairs facility, referencing Product Notice PN 2019-04-002.
Packaging for Returns:
Ensure returned items are securely overpacked to prevent damage during transit.
Inspect Incoming Shipments:
Continue monitoring shipments for affected products as they may remain in transit or non-Rockwell inventories.
