Mounting Options

• Rack or Panel Mounting: The system can be installed within NEMA-rated cabinets with sufficient space for ventilation and operational clearances.
• Base and Casters: Cabinets can include optional bases and casters for mobility.
• Multiple Cabinet Configuration: Cabinets can be bolted together, ensuring sufficient clearance to open both front and rear doors fully.

Slot Covers

To maintain proper airflow and protect the chassis, all unused slots should be filled with Blank I/O Slot Panels (Model 8105).

Heat Management

Proper thermal management is critical for the reliable performance of the Tricon system:

1. For Vented and Non-Vented Enclosures:
   • Use baffles (Triconex Part Number 2000361-001).
2. For High Temperatures (>122°F or 50°C):
   • Implement advanced cooling solutions such as:
     • Louvers and pagoda tops.
     • Enlarged louvers with raised pagoda tops.
     • Low-density filters for enhanced airflow.
     • Redundant fans operating continuously, integrated with appropriate louvers and pagoda tops.
   • Integrate failure detection circuitry for proactive thermal management.
