Operational Guidance

Phase Checking and Correction:

1. Preparation:
   • Ensure the prime mover is not running and is in isochronous mode.
   • Fully charge the generator.
2. Measurement:
   • Measure the load signal between terminals 11 (negative) and 13 (positive).
   • Record voltage and polarity for the first current transformer.
   • Record voltage for the second and third transformers.
3. Correction:
   • If discrepancies are observed, adjust the phase by testing each CT.

Troubleshooting Speed Equalization Issues:

• If the engine fails to equalize for the rated no-load speed:
  • Check the control operation.
