Description

The 140072-04 3500/45 Position Monitor is a 4-channel module designed for monitoring the position of machinery components. It accepts input signals from various types of sensors, including:

  • Non-contact proximity probes.
  • Rotary position transducers (RPTs).
  • Linear Variable Differential Transformers (LVDTs) for both AC and DC.
  • Rotary potentiometers.

The module processes these input signals and compares them to user-programmable alarm setpoints. Each channel can be configured for specific monitoring functions such as:

  • Axial position (shaft displacement relative to a thrust bearing).
  • Differential expansion (both standard and custom configurations).
  • Case expansion.
  • Valve position monitoring.

Note: Channels can be paired, allowing each pair to perform different monitoring functions simultaneously.
