The Bently Nevada 3500/42E Vibration Monitor is a sophisticated four-channel monitor designed to detect and manage vibration and position measurements in machinery, ensuring early identification of potential issues. It integrates with proximity and seismic transducers to condition signals, supporting various user-defined alarm and measurement configurations. Each channel can be configured with the 3500 Rack Configuration Software to perform any of the following measurement functions:

- Buffered Transducer Outputs: Each channel has a coaxial connector with 499 Ω output impedance, short-circuit protected.
- Relay Contacts: Drives relays for 3300 SIRM options during 3500 ENCORE Rack Upgrade.

- Alert and Danger Setpoints: Adjustable from 0 to 100% of full-scale, accuracy within 0.13% of desired value. Setpoints limited by the transducer range.

- Alert: 1 to 60 seconds (1-second increments).
- Danger: 0.1 seconds to 60 seconds (0.5-second increments).
