M 2215 | HIMA M2215 Cover Panel

The HIMA M 2215 cover panel is specifically designed for the H41q/H51q and Planar F systems within a 19-inch rack. It fully complies with DIN EN 60297-3, ensuring proper compatibility and integration with standard 19-inch rack systems. As a result, the panel effectively protects the system while supporting proper module installation.

Key Features and Specifications:

• Compliance with Standards:
  • The panel adheres to DIN EN 60297-3, a standard that defines the dimensions for 19-inch rack systems.
  • This compliance guarantees that the system operates correctly and efficiently while providing robust protection.

ATEX (Ex)i Modules:

The available (Ex)i modules come in two types:

1. Non-varnished with PCB covering.
2. Varnished with PCB covering.

You can combine both types without leaving empty slots between them. However, it’s important to note that when using varnished (Ex)i modules, the right slot must remain free when paired with non-(Ex)i modules. Alternatively, you can insert a front plate (M 2214), which includes a partition plate, into the right slot. This requirement also applies to slot 15.

Additionally, the left slot of an (Ex)i module can accommodate any other type of module. Consequently, any unused slots must be covered with front plates M 2215 (for 4 SU) or M 2217 (for 8 SU) to ensure proper protection and system integrity.

Usable Partition Plates and Front Plates:

• M 2214: Front plate with partition plate (100 x 160 mm).
• M 2215: Front plate (4 SU).
• M 2217: Front plate (8 SU).
