Description
The RET615 is a high-performance relay designed for transformer protection and control in utility and industrial power distribution systems. It is part of ABB’s Relion® product family and the 615 series, offering a compact design and withdrawable-unit functionality. This device is optimized for two-winding transformers, unit transformers, step-up transformers, and generator-transformer blocks.
The RET615 is engineered to maximize the benefits of the IEC 61850 standard, ensuring interoperability between substation automation devices. Once the user applies the required application-specific settings, the relay is ready for immediate operation.
